Polypropylene, also known as polypropene, is a thermoplastic polymer used for a wide variety of applications. This fabric is most commonly used for the construction of disposable face masks. The material Conforms to the EN 14683 standard and therfore offers 98% bacterial filtration efficiency.

This fabric is Fire retardant to British Standards BS5852 (1979)
This material was tested according to BS5852: Part 1 : 1979 Methods of test for the ignitability by smokers, materials of upholstered composites for seating.
