100% natural biodegradable, eco friendly material. The fibre comes from the Jute plant, a closely woven coarse weave fabric that has many practical uses, including notice boards, wall covering, craft, rug making, upholstery, carpet backing, sand bags, art, beekeeping, domestic use, industrial and educational uses.
This is not really an apparel fabric because of the coarse weave. Another common use of hessian fabric is in garden centres and the agriculture trade, when transplanting shrubs and trees, exposed roots are normally wrapped in hessian for protection.
Due to the nature of the fabric and biodegradable quality there are no UV chemicals or protection properties.
