  • A flexible flame retardant open cell acoustic foam with a controlled cell structure offering excellent sound absorption properties. Impregnated polyether foam.

    This material is very robust with good mechanical strength and may be applied to curved surfaces or compressed to fit complex and awkward shapes.

    This impregnated acoustic foam is compliant to building regulation standard BS476 Pts 6&7 with Class O and Class 1 ratings.

    In addition high performance self adhesives are available to satisfy the most demanding standards and specifications.

    Acoustic foam is an open cell foam material ideally used for sound treatment. It reduces airborne sound waves by increasing air resistance, thus reducing the amplitude of the waves. The energy is dissipated as heat.

    Available in a variety of sizes and thickness and can be attached to walls, ceilings, doors, floors and other features of a room to control noise levels, vibration, and echoes, effectively eliminating resonance within the room.

    This impregnated acoustic foam is compliant to building regulation standard BS476 Pts 6&7 with Class O and Class 1 ratings.

    Acoustic enhancement
    The objective is to enhance the properties of sound by improving speech clarity and sound quality, for this reason, acoustic foam is often used in recording studios. The purpose is to reduce, but not entirely eliminate resonance within the room. This is achieved by placing similar sized pieces of foam, often in the shape of cones or triangles, on opposite walls.

  • Please Note: The visual appearance of fabric and colour may vary on screen between monitors due to the different screen colour settings;

    The actual fabric appearances, textures, colours and quality of your fabric may not be as what you see on screen, the dyeing process between fabrics vary due to way the fabric has been woven, constructed or treated. Another factor is the type of yarn used (coarse or fine), these are key factors to consider when choosing the right fabric for your project.

    We recommend you order actual fabric samples of the fabrics you are interested in. With samples you will be sure of the fabric shade, texture, quality and the fabric feel, also you will know if it is the right fabric for your application.

    Important Point to remember about your colour; i.e. RED may not be the same as our RED, this is the same rule for any colour, you must request fabric samples, we do offer free samples, simply call us to order them.
